Fortinet Discovers IBM Lotus Notes/Domino Server Vulnerability


Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs has discovered a remote denial of service vulnerability in IBM Lotus Notes/Domino Server.


FortiGuard Labs released the following FortiGate IPS signature which covers this specific vulnerability:

Users should patch/apply IBM's new hotfix.

Additional Information

The vulnerability occurs while IBM Lotus Notes/Domino Server handles malformed TCP packet. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could cause the server to crash immediately.
